1. Lots of Firsts
We visited Cragun’s for the first time in 2013. It was a vacation filled with memories and a lot of firsts for our two little ones. It was the first time our 3 year old son went fishing, first time our 6 months old went on a boat and first time both went on a horse-drawn carriage ride. Our son’s fave memories were feeding the ducks, going for a bike ride, swimming in the pool and playing with the phone in the room. 🙂 My husband and I loved being able to escape from our busy lives to just relax and spend time with each other.

2. Beautiful Fall Day
One fall day in October I wandered into Cragun’s and I had never been here before. It was quaint and amazing. I wandered around the lobby and had lunch as I was there with a friend that had a meeting. It was just so beautiful and part of it was like going back in time. I can’t wait for my next opportunity to spend more time at Cragun’s and have some fun hiking or x-country skiing.

3. Hospitality Was Over The Top
My favorite memory at Cragun’s was a fall conference I went on for Mary Kay Sales Representatives. Everyone had such a great time. The hospitality was a over the top as well as the accommodations. Everything from the food to the staff. I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend retreat.

4. Name The Best Campfire Tunes
Cragun’s has become our “cabin”. We don’t get up there very often, but when we do it is always on our list of favorite things to do…from Sue P. in reservations laughing with us over the phone as we make our reservation and finding a place for us to “park” ourselves at the last minute or the heart warming message from Dutch Cragun himself on the phone, we always feel like part of family of the resort. It’s old school charm resonates with us. We love the rustic cabins. One of our best memories is coming up and staying with my sister and her husband and our little nephews. Long after the kids were sleeping our time by the campfire comically turned to arguing over who was going to DJ the best tunes to sing along with to my sometimes reserved brother-in-law dancing around the campfire…and he really can’t dance if you know what I mean…the memory still makes us laugh.
