It was an exciting winter with Irma’s Kitchen taking home honors in both the Taste of the Lakes Event and the Frozen Fore Food Festival. Both competitions involved Brainerd area resorts and restaurants competing for top prizes.

A new bar/lounge area was constructed featuring a new concrete counter top, new flooring, new windows and new display areas. Guests can now enjoy Brainerd MN dining and refreshments with a more expansive view.

The bar/lounge area features live music on Friday and Saturday evenings including local favorites like Brendan Flynn and Chris Dobson. You will enjoy an extensive new bar menu, wine list, craft beers and specialty cocktails.

Another great addition was the new deck off the bar/lounge. It overlooks the outdoor pool and Gull Lake and has become the preferred spot to see and be seen on a beautiful summer day in the Brainerd Lakes Area.

Of course, the real star of the show continues to be the food. Chef Brian Diumenti has added some exciting new items to the Gull Lake restaurant’s Menu this year.

And, Chef Brian continues with his commitment to using only the freshest foods, locally sourced – fresh to table. During the off-season, visits were made to local farmers and growers and with numerous food vendors to choose suppliers for the food and drinks.
