FRONT DESK AGENT
FIRST & SECOND SHIFT

Cragun’s is looking to fill Front Desk Agent Positions. Must be able to work a flexible scheduled to include weekends and holidays.

Job purpose
As a Front Desk Agent you are responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring that their stay will become a memorable experience

Duties and responsibilities

  • Register guests, accommodate special requests whenever possible
  • Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices
  • Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property
  • Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary
  • Knows cancellation procedures
  • Maintains guest room key storage, and maintains and supervises access to safe deposit boxes
  • Process guest check-outs
  • Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, currency exchange, etc…
  • Uses proper telephone etiquette

FRONT DESK NIGHT AUDIT

Job purpose
As a Front Desk Night Auditor you are responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring that their stay will become a memorable experience.  Must understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Checks front desk accounting records for accuracy and, on a daily basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel’s financial records
  • Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the resort’s financial performance for the day
  • Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted during the day by the front desk cashier
  • Processes guest charge vouchers and credit card voucher
  • Verifies all account postings and balances made during the day by front desk cashier and agents
  • Run End of day process / Night audit process on the property management software
  • Is able to function as a front desk agent

Cragun’s Resort

WATER SKI INSTRUCTOR

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing excellent coaching to all students
Driving and maintaining the boats (must be 18 or older)
General upkeep of the equipment and facility

Perks of this role include:
