Front Desk

FRONT DESK AGENT
FIRST & SECOND SHIFT

Cragun’s is looking to fill Front Desk Agent Positions. Must be able to work a flexible scheduled to include weekends and holidays.

Job purpose
As a Front Desk Agent you are responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring that their stay will become a memorable experience

Duties and responsibilities

  • Register guests, accommodate special requests whenever possible
  • Thoroughly understands and adheres to proper credit, check- cashing, and cash handling policies and procedures
  • Presents options and alternatives to guests and offers assistance in making choices
  • Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property
  • Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notifying housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early check-ins, special requests, and day use rooms
  • Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary
  • Knows cancellation procedures
  • Maintains guest room key storage, and maintains and supervises access to safe deposit boxes
  • Process guest check-outs
  • Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, currency exchange, etc…
  • Uses proper telephone etiquette

FRONT DESK NIGHT AUDIT

Job purpose
As a Front Desk Night Auditor you are responsible to provide professional and customer focused service to our guests, ensuring that their stay will become a memorable experience.  Must understand principles of auditing, balancing, and closing out accounts.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Checks front desk accounting records for accuracy and, on a daily basis, summarizes and compiles information for the hotel’s financial records
  • Prepares a summary of cash, check, and credit card activities, reflecting the resort’s financial performance for the day
  • Posts room charges and room taxes to guest accounts including guest transactions not posted during the day by the front desk cashier
  • Processes guest charge vouchers and credit card voucher
  • Verifies all account postings and balances made during the day by front desk cashier and agents
  • Run End of day process / Night audit process on the property management software
  • Is able to function as a front desk agent

 

Cragun’s Legacy Courses

CHEMICAL TECHNICIAN
Legacy Golf Course is looking to fill a Chemical Technician position.  This position is seasonal and
pay is based on experience.  Season runs from April 24th – October.

Under the direction of the Golf Course Superintendent you will be responsible for a wide array of duties and use many different kinds of maintenance equipment.

Must be familiar with all equipment function and operation to perform daily maintenance.
Perform Chemical and Fertilizer applications as directed. To apply chemicals you will have to take and pass The Minnesota Pesticide Applicators test before you apply anything.

Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

  • Have a Minnesota Pesticide Application Certification or be able to be certified
  • Must possess a high regard for customer service and employee relations
  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

GOLF MECHANIC

Cragun’s Legacy Golf Course is looking to fill a part time Golf Mechanic position for the 2017 season.  Season runs from April 24th – October.  The position is part time at 20 hours a week.  Pay is based on experience.

Job Purpose –To maintain the golf course equipment to the Company’s standards.

Duties and Responsibilities –

  • Basic functions of the position are: back lapping and/or grinding of reels, daily setup up of cutting units, changing fluids, working with hydraulics, preventative maintenance, troubleshooting problems
  • Must be familiar with the function and operation of all the equipment
  • Must be able to recognize and correct a piece of equipment that is malfunctioning in the field
  • Assists in maintenance and monitoring of fuel/equipment wastewater recycling island.
  • Operates equipment on the course when necessary
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications –

  • Able to work independently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule

Cragun’s Resort

WATER SKI INSTRUCTOR

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Providing excellent coaching to all students
Driving and maintaining the boats (must be 18 or older)
General upkeep of the equipment and facility

Perks of this role include:
