Trails
There are great hiking and biking trails on Cragun's property, as well as more options on the many woodland trails in nearby Pillsbury State Forest. The famous Paul Bunyan trail follows the old Northern Pacific roadbed from Brainerd to International Falls, and is currently paved to Walker. It's located just a few miles from Cragun's.

Lakeside Walkway
Our paved walking path along the shoreline is so beautiful, you'll want to stop along the way and rest at one of the many benches with a great view of Gull Lake.

Paul Bunyan Trail
One of MN's premier multi-use trails is located just a few miles east of Cragun's. The 100-mile paved Paul Bunyan Trail runs from Brainerd to Bemidji, with an unpaved extension to International Falls Most of the trail is generally level so people of all ages can enjoy hiking, biking or rollerblading on the trail. Winter turns the trail into a snowmobile rider's dream.

Scenic Bike Trail
Be sure to bring your bike or rent one of ours and enjoy riding around the resort and along the lakeside on our paved biking and walking path.

Nature Trail
Cragun's Black Tern Trail is a beautiful self-guided nature trail for guests' enjoyment during any season. There are 30 posted locations to help you recognize the local floral as you take in some of the beauty the Brainerd Lakes area and Gull Lake has to offer. Click here to view a copy of the map.
