 CRAGUN'S LEGACY COURSES RECEIVES 5 STAR RATING ON
DUTCH LEGACY AND 4-1/2 STAR RATING ON BOBBY'S LEGACY.
BRAINERD, MN August 7, 2008--Golf Digest's 2008 Best Places to Play
rankings are out and the Dutch Legacy championship course received a
5 Star Rating. Only 24 courses in the United States received the 5
star rating. In addition, Bobby's Legacy 18-hole championship
courses received a rating of 4-1/2 stars. The "Comments" that were
included in the 5 star rating included: An "interesting" and "very
scenic, tough golf course." Like its sister course, you'll be
"impressed with the service and hospitality along with the great
golf experience." "You will never have a course treat you as well as
this one does."
"We are thrilled to have achieved 5 STAR Status for our Dutch Legacy
Course and retained our 4-1/2 Star Rating on Bobby's Legacy,
especially since they come from the readers of Golf Digest - people
who have actually played our courses," owner Dutch Cragun commented.

For the 2008 edition of Best Places to Play, 20,000 Golf Digest
readers filled out course ballots, sharing their opinions and
experience on more than 6,000 courses in North America and the
Islands. Best Places to Play provides the most comprehensive
information on public-access golf courses in North America. Golf
Digest readers reviewed courses they played over the previous year
and rated them using a five-point scale for five separate criteria:
the overall golf experience, the value for the money, the standard
of service at the facility, the overall conditioning of the course
and the normal pace of play for an 18-hole round of golf.
In addition to the 5 star rankings from Golf Digest, the Legacy
Courses were also named Golf Course of the Year in 2002 by the
Midwest Golf Course Owners Association, Best in State by Golf Digest
in 2005-2006 and Best Golf Resort by Minnesota Meeting & Events. The
Legacy Courses at Cragun's was only the second resort course in the
world to qualify as an Audubon International Signature Sanctuary. As
a member of the Brainerd Golf Trail, the Legacy Courses is also
located in "One of the Top 50 Golf Destinations in the World,"
according to Golf Digest.
According to noted St. Paul Pioneer Press golf writer Gregg Wong,
the Brainerd Golf Trail is the Midwest's Number One golf
destination.
"I've played 20 of Golf Digest's top 100 public courses, including
seven of the top 16…I can honestly say that the Brainerd Golf Trail
Courses rank with the best in the country," said Wong.
