FAQ
When should I arrive?
Arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment. This will allow you to relax prior to massage treatment. We ask that you please shower beforehand if you have a massage scheduled, and that you remove all make-up if you have a face treatment scheduled.
Should I bring anything, and what should I wear?
At Gull Lake Spa, we want to pamper you. You don't need to bring anything but yourself and a positive mental attitude. We provide robes and towels for all guests receiving spa treatments. Wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothing so you can continue your relaxation after treatments are done. It's time to relax!
Should I disrobe completely for my treatments?
You will be instructed by your therapist regarding what to wear. Traditionally most spa services are done wearing no clothing. Our therapists are professionals and will appropriately cover and drape you to ensure privacy and comfort.
Should I avoid the spa if I am pregnant?
Actually, we encourage mothers-to-be to enjoy the spa. You will want to avoid high-heat and deep pressure treatments, but we have many other services that will indulge you and your baby. The specific services we will perform for mothers-to-be are: BodyBuffing, Salt Glow Massage and Manicures.
Is gratuity included in the price of my service?
Services at Gull Lake Spa do not include tax or gratuity. However, if you feel you received excellent service, please feel free to leave your provider a tip.
If I have a medical condition, should I tell someone?
You must make your service provider aware of your medical history. We will provide you with a questionnaire to complete when you arrive. Your provider will review the form before you begin your service.
Is there an age limit for services at the spa?
Due to the nature of the spa environment, anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
What is your cancellation policy?
Gull Lake Spa has set aside this time especially for you. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required. If you fail to notify us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled service, you will be charged the full service price. In addition, if we are not able to perform a scheduled treatment due to a guest's physical condition (i.e. pregnancy-not previously mentioned, sunburn, under the influence of a chemical substance etc.) the guest will be charged for the total amount of the missed service.
How much in advance do I need to book my spa appointment?
Most weekends are booking up a month in advance. To avoid disappointment, please schedule your spa appointment when making your room reservation.
