“Making Friends & Fun Memories For 72 Years”
2. Many Magical Memories?
3. Pontooning On Gull?
4. Relaxing Family Time
From golfing in the summer to the winter activities, such as New Year’s Eve party with 12, to dog sledding, swimming and playing in the summer, this has been a place of family fun and everyone awaits the next adventure, the last time we came to Cragun’s we had a 5-vehicle caravan from Iowa to Marshall heading to Cragun’s and we were not disappointed. Thanks for the memories!
Cragun’s was the venue for many magical memories for me, my daughter and my mother. While the rest of the family was off at work, the three of us started our summer early in Cabin 112. All to ourselves at the end of sidewalk, Megan, who was almost two, thought every day was a new adventure. We’d walk to breakfast where the wait staff called her by name, then head to the pool where Megs felt like a superhero as she jumped into her grandmother’s arms. My mother and I made cards and crafted, getting in time for conversations that never seem to happen in the chaos of regular life, while Megan napped peacefully after having her fill of northern fresh air. Evenings were spent eating dinner to live music, getting private pontoon rides, a horse-drawn wagon ride and even experiencing a wild animal show!
As cannot be predicted with children, Megan’s all time favorite activity that trip was swinging like a gymnast from the luggage cart in the lobby — Gramma and I had sore sides and cheeks from laughing at her sheer joy in such a simple thing. Her pride and shouts of “Watch this!” even earned her applause from the front desk staff.
Thank you Cragun’s for filling my family (and my scrapbook) with precious memories!
