1. Many Firsts
A few years ago my dad attended a fall conference at Cragun’s, so my mom and I decided to tag along. My dad tried to describe to us how beautiful of a place this was, but words can’t do it justice – you have to see it with your own eyes. This trip included many firsts for me: first road trip, first time in Minnesota, first time staying at a resort, and my first time seeing a plane land in a lake. I loved spending time going on walks and looking at all of the lovely trees changing colors. The pool at Cragun’s is awesome and was a lot of fun splashing in the water. Most of all it was fun just spending time with my mom and dad and I can’t think of a better place to do that than at Cragun’s – thank you for the wonderful memories!

2. Great Girls Getaway
This was a great girls getaway! We even sang karaoke for the 1st time!!! Loved the trivia and other activities, we were so excited to get dressed up and post our Cragun’s weekend on Facebook!

3. One of My Favorite Vacations
Our family took a spontaneous family vacation to Cragun’s. My dad has terminal cancer and my mom is also suffering with COPD and is currently waiting to get a double lung transplant so we wanted one last family vacation with the whole family to be there and Cragun’s was such a great choice! They have so much to do, my mom and my niece both won at bingo on Friday night and my nieces and nephews also won the medallion hunt on Saturday. We also did the bowl/mug painting and that was a blast! The kids loved it! The food was delicious and was great to enjoy such a relaxing vacation on the lake in such a beautiful cabin! It was a nice break from reality and is definitely one of my favorite vacations. I can’t wait to go back again to make more memories!

4. Gorgeous Minnesota Fall Colors
I was reminded of how much I love and miss the gorgeous fall colors in Minnesota. I was born and raised in MN, but have lived in Colorado for quite some time now, and I joined some friends of mine last fall at Cragun’s Resort for a weekend getaway and WOW what a spectacular sight with all the leaves. Just breathtaking! Especially because all that we have to look at in so called “Colorful Colorado” are the aspens, which can’t hold a candle to fall in MN. And it took this wonderful location to make me realize that, and also an actual lake not a man made thing that they call a reservoir. Gull Lake was like a sheet of glass on our early morning stroll, and we thoroughly enjoyed taking walks on the trails, and reminiscing of the good old days. And now this memory will be one that I treasure for a long time and will become a yearly ritual of ours. Thanks for a GREAT weekend, as well as a lifetime of memories!
