1. Son’s First Time Fishing
My favorite Cragun’s memory is from the long weekend our family spent at Cragun’s this summer. The resort was beautiful and there are loads of activities for both young and old alike. The high point of the trip was Saturday morning when we rented a pontoon to go fishing. This was our 3 year old son’s first time fishing and he caught five fish! He was so excited and proud!! Fishing at Cragun’s was definitely the high point of his summer.

2. Went To The Show On A Whim
My favorite memory of Cragun’s – we do a girls’ weekend every year at Cragun’s. We never look at events or anything, we just LOVE to go for the weekend and pamper ourselves and lay on the great beach and relax. Well, we decided to go to the bar one evening and when we got there we found out Scott Hanson was at Cragun’s, so we got our tickets (only 10 bucks) and went to the show on Saturday and let me tell you, it was the BEST night. They closed the doors to the bar and we had pretty much a private show! It was soooo awesome to have that nice of a time on a whim!!! We danced, sang karaoke, plus I won $2oo on pull tabs! What a blast! Thank you Cragun’s! The staff always goes BEYOND and is helpful and friendly! See you in a few months!

3. Loved The Wedding, Bonfire & Boat Ride
My first time at Cragun’s Resort was when I went there when I was 8. I went for my cousin’s wedding with my whole family. We stayed for four days. I remember how much I loved to walk around the lake and all the fun activities that were offered. Besides the actual wedding, I loved the bonfire on the beach and the boat ride around the lake after the ceremony. I would love to bring my family back to recreate and make memories.

4. Our Private “Cabin” On The Lake
We have some wonderful memories. Our family has stayed at Cragun’s on four different occasions. We were a part of group that would get together once a year and rent a whole section of the Shoreline Suites for the weekend and use the party room on the first floor. The kids always had something to do and so did the parents. We used the pool and hot tub. We sang our hearts out at Karaoke in the Lounge on Friday night after the welcoming dinner. On Saturday afternoon the kids would go on a hayride. On Saturday evenings we held a group dinner in the party room (annual theme parties) and after dinner the kids would hang out at the Sports Centre. Occasionally there was a show held in the Sports Centre – we saw some wild animals one year. The party room on the first level of our building – which has an enormous fully-stocked kitchen to use – was our Hub. We had the use of it all weekend and would meet up even later in the evening or early mornings. This room has an option of using the bonfire pit right outside and overlooking the lake. On Sundays, we all met up at the restaurant for brunch before leaving. I just can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is… the owners and staff are genuinely happy to have you as their guests. They make you feel as if you have just visited your private “Cabin” on the lake.
