  • Can I bring my own boat? Is there a charge to dock my boat? Can I launch my boat at Cragun’s?
    Guests can certainly bring their own boat to our Minnesota resort. We have a boat launch on site for putting your boat in the water. We request that you check in with the Marina before launching your boat. You may use any of Cragun’s designated docks at no charge.
  • Is boat trailer parking available?
    Yes, our Gull Lake resort has several areas around the resort for parking boat trailers. We also have some plug-in stations for charging trolling motors, etc.
  • Do you allow pets?
    We do not allow pets at our Gull Lake resort other than service dogs. Therapy and emotional support pets are not considered service dogs. We can suggest the names of kennels in the area.
  • Do you rent your pontoons for a full week?
    We have 6-hour daily rentals but we do not rent pontoons for an entire week.
  • Are there additional lodging taxes at Cragun’s?
    All rates shown do not include Minnesota sales tax. There are no additional lodging taxes or resort fees.
  • Can I check-in early?
    Check-in starts at 5:00 pm. If your room is ready prior to that time, you can be checked in. If not, you are free to use any of the amenities at our Brainerd resort while you wait to check-in.
  • What time is check-out?
    Check-out is at 11:00 am.
  • Do you have a shuttle service?
    We offer shuttle services to our Cragun’s locations, including Legacy Courses and offsite Cragun’s lodging. If you have a group that would like shuttle service, please talk with your group planner and they will make the arrangements. We do shuttle from the Brainerd Airport which must be prearranged and is $70. There are several local shuttle services to take and return guests from local restaurants and bars.
  • Do you have grills available?
    We have park-style charcoal grills located throughout our resort on Gull Lake that are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to bring your own charcoal and lighter fluid or they are available for purchase in the Marina.
  • What’s included in my Gull Lake cabin rental?
    A set of dishes, cups and glasses, silverware, basic pots and pans, cooking and serving utensils, coffee maker, microwave and toaster, cable television, Wi-Fi, dish soap, dish cloth, dish towels and scouring pad, bath towels, soap and shampoo, toilet paper, Kleenex and all bedding (Paper towels not included).  Life jackets are included with any marina rental. Chairs and picnic tables are located along the beach area throughout the resort. Park-style charcoal grills are available throughout our Gull Lake resort.
  • If I’m staying in a Gull Lake cabin rental, what items might I want to bring with me?
    Beach towels and sun screen, laundry detergent, blender and/or mixer, favorite frying pan, dutch oven, griddle, crockpot, water pitcher, aluminum foil, baggies, saran wrap, plastic containers, paper towels, basic condiments and spices, charcoal and lighter fluid, portable beach chairs, strollers, beach toys and fishing equipment.
  • Can I have a bonfire on the beach?
    Cragun’s Gull Lake MN resort provides a large bonfire on the beach each night in the summer that all guests are invited to. In addition, fire rings and wood are provided at many locations on the beach. Fire rings are available on a first come, first served basis and it is expected that our guests will share the fire rings with other guests. Fire rings can be reserved, for a fee, if you would prefer a private bonfire.  Fire rings cannot be reserved less than 24 hours from your desired date.
  • Can I rent a golf cart from Cragun’s to get around the resort?
    Cragun’s does not have extra golf carts available for guest rental. However, we can provide contact information for a local agency that rents golf carts and will deliver them to our Brainerd MN resort.
  • Can I bring my RV and camp at Cragun’s?
    Our Gull Lake resort does not have camping facilities. We can provide you with information on campgrounds in the area.
  • How far are you from Brainerd?
    Our resort on Gull Lake is approximately 8 miles from Brainerd/Baxter.
  • Do you have to pay for activities?
    Our Brainerd lakes resort offers many activities that are free to our guests – such as horse drawn trolley rides, evening bonfires, Family Feud, Kids Intro to Golf and the Pine Grove Zoo Experience. We also have activities available that have a fee attached to them – such as water ski or wakeboard lessons, Kids Fishing Clinic and Vacation Creations.   • Is a round of golf included in my stay? Is there a discounted rate for guests of the resort?
    Each guest staying at our Brainerd golf resort receives one round of golf FREE on Craguns’ Legacy Par 3 Reversible Course or a free round of FootGolf (FootGolf ball rental is extra). Cragun’s also has a reduced rate on the Legacy Championship Courses for guests staying at the resort.
  • Are there hiking or biking trails nearby?
    Pillsbury State Forest is located just a few miles north of Cragun’s and includes 27 miles of hiking and biking trails and snowmobile trails in the winter. In addition, there is the East Gull Lake Bike Trail in and around the Gull Lake Area and the Paul Bunyan State Trail that offers 120 miles of biking between the cities of Brainerd and Bemidji.
