What’s new at Cragun’s?
As Minnesota’s largest year-round resort and conference center, Cragun’s is committed to providing the best value and experience while keeping our focus on Dutch Cragun’s original vision – great service, best experience for all group sizes and a great product all under one roof.
Our most publicized renovation is the Cragun’s Legacy Courses $15 million golf course expansion project. The Lehman, designed in partnership with PGA TOUR Pro, Tom Lehman, opened in September 2023. Also designed by Tom Lehman, The Dutch 27 is also seeing it’s own renovation with the Blue 9 opened for play June 30th and the last of our renovation on the Red 9 will start July 1, 2023.
Behind the scenes of the golf course renovation, our Resort Facilities Improvement team has transformed Cragun’s Resort.
Since 2017, this team has completed the following renovations:
2017 – 2018
- Lobby Gift Shop
- Cabin 109 & 110: complete remodel and renovation
- Built two brand new Bayview Villas. Each with 7 bedrooms, 6.5 baths, full kitchen, dining room, gaming room and large deck overlooking Gull Lake
- Remodeled 14 Shoreline Suite Rooms
2018 – 2019
- Marina Remodel with new check-in counter, added 2 bathrooms, flooring and more
- Lobby Remodel
- Cabin 111 complete remodel and renovation
- Cabin 112 two bedroom cabin demolished and rebuilt a new 5 bedroom/4bathroom cabin
- Remodeled 7 additional Shoreline Suite Rooms
- Shoreline Room completed remodeled into a hospitality/meeting room including new kitchen
- Lodge Rooms 346-351 complete remodel and renovations
- Purchased Legacy Home 832 with renovations and basement remodel
2019 – 2020

- Outdoor Recreation Area: rebuilt tennis court – converted 3 into pickleball and 1 tennis resurface, paint basketball court, added frisbee golf, refreshed outdoor pool
2021 – 2022

2022 – 2023
