Are additional Lodging Taxes added at Cragun’s?
All rates shown on the web site do not include state sales tax. There are no additional lodging/city taxes added on vacation packages when you stay at Cragun’s.
We reserve the right to alter packages. Rates confirmed in your reservation will be honored. Vacation rates are not valid for any conference or meeting.
Check-in starts at 5 pm and our goal is to have all rooms ready by this time. If your room is clean prior to 5 pm you can check into it. Check out is at 11 am. Housekeeping Plus cabins ready by 4 pm. Check-out by 9 am.
Rollaways and Pack ‘N Play
All are available for $15 per night.
In compliance with the Freedom to Breathe and Minnesota Clean Indoor Air Act, all indoor facilities at our Brainerd resort, including all sleeping rooms, cabins, decks and public areas have been designated smoke free. Smoking in a non-smoking unit is a misdemeanor and the smoker will pay $300 in damages to get the room back to its smoke-free condition. State law provides that if an offender does not reimburse the innkeeper in 30 days, a $100 civil penalty may be added as well as reasonable attorney fees up to $500.
No Pet Policy
Pets are not allowed on Cragun’s premises (with the exception of service animals). Leave your pet at home or call us prior to your arrival for a list of area kennels. Violation of the pet policy will result in pet eviction and a minimum charge of $300 for any damage and cleaning of the room.
Credit Cards and ATM Cash Machine
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover and cash card.
Transportation from the Brainerd Airport can be arranged for a fee.
No Fireworks on Property
To allow all of our guests to enjoy the peaceful vacation they came to Cragun’s Resort for, fireworks are not allowed on the resort property.
In response to changing marketplace conditions, Cragun’s Resort is committed to ensuring our customers experience flexibility during these challenging times. For all existing and new reservations with an arrival date prior to May 1, 2021:
For reservations arriving after May 1, 2021:
A one-night deposit is required for both cabins and lodge rooms. For lodge rooms, we will allow changes and cancellations up to 31 days prior to your arrival date with no fee. If you cancel 30 days or less prior to arrival date you will forfeit one-half of your deposit. If you cancel 14 days or less prior to your arrival date, the entire deposit will be forfeited. For cabins, if you cancel 31 days or more prior to your arrival, date you will forfeit one-half of your deposit. If you cancel 30 days or less prior to your arrival date, you will forfeit your entire deposit. (Note: Housekeeping Plus deposits are non-refundable).
Golf Packages are booked on a per person basis. If you cancel 30 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, your deposit may be refunded less a $40 PER PERSON service fee. If you cancel 15-29 days prior to your scheduled arrival date, each person’s $100 deposit will be forfeited, if you cancel 14 days or less before your scheduled arrival you will be charged the full package price. If you are coming on a golf package, your entire package amount (minus deposit) will be charged on the credit card on file 7-10 days prior to your arrival.
