Wedding Planning Services
Q: Can I have my wedding on the beach and my reception at the golf course?
Your wedding coordinator will work with you to assess the best options for you based on the size of your wedding and the type of experience you are looking for. We want to provide the customized wedding you are looking for.
Q: Do you charge room rental fees or do you have a food & beverage minimum?
Your wedding coordinator will consult with you regarding our room charges. Cragun’s does not have a Food & Beverage minimum.
Q: How do lodging arrangements work for my guests?
Lodging reservations will be made through our vacation sales department. There is a 2-night minimum on peak season weekends and holidays. All overnight rooms require a one night lodging advance deposit. With ten room rentals, the wedding couple receive a complimentary King room.
Q: When do I need to guarantee my numbers?
Cragun’s requires a 10 day notice on the guaranteed number of people expected for the event.
Q: What is your policy if the date changes or I have to cancel?
If it becomes necessary to change the date of your event, the deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit will be required to hold the new date. In the event of cancellation, all advance payments are non-refundable. If the function is cancelled less than 2 months prior to the event, you will be billed for the total amount of expected revenue.
Q: Do you have any restrictions on the type of decorations allowed?
Cragun’s does not allow confetti, glitter, smoke machines, or bubble machines in any function space at the Resort or Legacy Clubhouse. Due to fire code, Cragun’s does not allow the use of any “open flamed” candles. All decorating not provided by Cragun’s must be approved prior to the event.
Q: Will there be someone from your property available the day of my event to make sure everything goes as planned?
Both Cragun’s Resort and the Legacy Clubhouse have full time wedding coordinators. They will work with you during your planning process and will be on-site throughout your event to assure that everything proceeds as planned.
