Cragun's Hotel and Resort

Diane started her career with Cragun's in 1993 as a Dining Room Supervisor. She was promoted to Dining Room/Catering Manager and took on the added responsibilities of wedding and event coordination. Diane also spent 21 years at the Holiday Inn Brainerd working at the front desk and in food service. Diane has planned and coordinated many beach weddings as well as utilizing almost every facility available at the resort for weddings and receptions from small and intimate to large and truly grand. Resort activities have also included pre-wedding parties, bachelor/bachelorette parties, gift openings, and family reunions. Diane will have ideas on how to incorporate special touches like beach bonfires, beach sand ceremonies, bridal party pontoon rides, picnics, buffets, seated dinners, live bands, DJ's, spa treatments and more.

Diane's special area of expertise is her experience in putting together a great team that truly enjoys serving our guests.

Carrie started her career with Cragun's in 2001 as a supervisor in the Resort Dining Room and the Hungry Gull Restaurant. She left Cragun's to move to Seattle, WA with her future husband. While in Seattle she worked for the Seattle Space Needle, Benaroya Hall and the Japanese Consulate. Upon the birth of her first niece and in preparation for her own wedding she moved back to Minnesota and returned to work for Cragun's Legacy Courses in March 2007. She enjoys the thrill of the planning process and watching each event grow into the final product. Carrie now plans a variety of events from small and intimate in the Audubon Room to larger ceremonies on the Pavilion Patio. Let her know what your ideas are and she will help you plan and execute them. Carrie has worked with couples on groom's dinners, breakfast gift opening parties, ceremonies, receptions, dinners and dances. She is proud to say she has a one of a kind staff that is attentive and passionate about great customer service.
