- What is included with my the ticket price for a public cruise?
The ticket price includes your cruise and sales tax. Beverages and concessions may be purchased during your cruise. Gratuity for onboard staff is not included, so please tip your service crew.
- Are my purchased public cruise tickets refundable?
Gull Lake Cruises will gladly honor your ticket price if cancelled on behalf of Gull Lake Cruises. Reschedules are honored at no additional charge.
- Is the North Star Handicap Accessible?
Unfortunately, the North Star is not fully Handicap Accessible as determined by state law. the vessel has ramps from the dock to the boat and will work with you to provide access to the main level. A separate restroom is available on the main floor with full handicapped accessibility. Access to the upper level requires use of stairs.
- Are your buffets "all you can eat"?
No. Because of the finality of being on the water and not having a kitchen on board, buffet cruises leave the dock with specific portion servings per person. Please be mindful of this as you fill your plate.
- Are children allowed?
Of course! Adult-accompanied children are allowed on all cruises. Children 12 and under cruise at a reduced rate, and children four and under cruise free.
- Are outside alcoholic beverages or food allowed?
No. Minnesota State Law forbids us from allowing any outside alcoholic beverages or food onboard the North Star.
- Is there pre-assigned seating on public cruises?
No. Public cruises begin boarding 15 minutes prior to departure and seating choices are on a first-come basis.
- Is smoking permitted?
Smoking is permitted on the lower aft deck only of the North Star.
- Could my cruise reservation be cancelled by Gull Lake Cruises?
Gull Lake Cruises offers public cruises rain or shine (unless severe weather arises) but do require 20 adult reservations for departure. In the event that less than 20 tickets are booked, Gull Lake Cruises will offer you a refund or opportunity to reschedule.
- Is there a chance I’ll get seasick?
There is little wave movement for a yacht this size. Some movement may be felt, but seasickness on board is rare.
- How far in advance should I begin planning my event?
Begin planning your event as soon as you have a definite date in mind. Booking early ensures your first choice of date and allows extra time for coordination of all your special details.
