Paul Bunyan Land is home to the famous, 26-foot-tall animated and talking statue of Paul Bunyan, weighing 5,000 pounds. As guests enter the amusement park, Paul welcomes them. You can also find Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox at the entrance of Cragun's Resort at the Brainerd welcome center, located south of Brainerd on highway 371. The statue of Paul Bunyan was donated to the Brainerd Welcome center by Dutch and Irma Cragun.
