Press Room

Dear Dutch:

We want to be the first to congratulate you on your inclusion in our Best in State rankings for 2005-2006.

These rankings are part of our biennial America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses package and will appear in the May 2005 issue of Golf Digest which arrives on newsstands April 12.

Golf Digest has conducted America’s 100 Greatest Golf Courses ranking since 1966, making it the oldest and most respected ranking in the game. The magazine’s panel of 850 low-handicap male and female golfers nationwide played and rated the courses on criteria including Shot Value, Resistance to Scoring, Design Variety, Memorability, Aesthetics, Conditioning, Ambiance and Walk-ability. After panelists filed their evaluations, Golf Digest averaged the scores of the categories and totaled the averages to determine the overall rankings.

Please extend our congratulations to your golf professionals and the entire golf course staff. Our Communications Department will be contacting you with further information.
